Decision 1 — Output That Cuts Through Darkness

An 18 × 20W RGBWA-UV engine (261W total output) sets the floor. A spot that can't cut through a dark festival stage isn't a spot — it's decoration. This one starts at full punch.

Decision 2 — Fixed Optics, On Purpose

We chose a fixed 15° beam rather than a zoom system. Spots are supposed to be predictable: sharp, focused, and identical show after show. No zoom mechanism also means one less failure point on the road.

Decision 3 — The Full Spectrum, Plus UV

RGBWA + UV covers what RGBW cannot: clean whites, warm amber for skin tones, and a dedicated UV channel for blacklight and glow-reactive sets — the difference between a lit stage and a themed one.

Decision 4 — Control That Talks to the Rig

DMX512/RDM keeps the fixture native to professional consoles, while 0–100% dimming and a 0–20Hz strobe give programmers the full dynamic range: slow elegant washes or beat-synced bursts.

Decision 5 — IP65, Not "Mostly Weatherproof"

Touring means outdoor stages, rain, dust, and rough handling. The IP65-rated housing makes "can we run it outside?" a non-question for the crew.

Decision 6 — Low Profile for the Truck

A sleek, low-profile body packs tighter into cases and trusses — and looks deliberate in the rig. Form follows the tour schedule.
